November 17, 2022 by Madison Marx

The Best 2023 Concert Tours: Confirmed Tours, Rumors, Predictions

Music fans are making it clear that they want to see their favorite artists on the road again in 2023. Given that there’s several top music acts that could tour, Vivid Seats breaks down the likelihood of each act announcing a 2023 tour below.

Adele

Topping the list of best 2023 concert tours would be an Adele tour. While it is not exactly a tour, Adele has announced dates for her Las Vegas residency in support of her latest album "30." Adele will begin her Weekends with Adele concerts on November 18 through March 25, 2023.

Tour Likelihood: Tour Confirmed

Ariana Grande

Will Ariana Grande tour in 2023? That’s the question that Ariana Grande fans around the world are asking. The pop sensation last toured in 2019 in support of her albums “Sweetener” and “Thank U, Next.” Ariana Grande has said that she prefers touring with material from two different albums. Since she just released “Positions” in 2020, it looks like fans will have to wait until she releases another album for a 2023 tour.

Tour Likelihood: Unlikely

Beyoncé

The Beyhive is buzzing in hopes that Beyoncé will tour in 2023. In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Beyoncé hinted that new music is on the way. Given that Beyoncé’s last solo tour was in 2016 in support of “Lemonade,” a Beyoncé 2023 tour just feels right now that we know she’s working on releasing a new album.

Tour Likelihood: Confirmed! Beyonce Renaissance tour tickets are available now (Updated 2/6/23)

Bruce Springsteen

Get ready because “The Boss” is hitting the road next year after a seven-year break. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will kick off their next 31-date tour in February 2023. The Garden State icon's tour is expected to be one of the hottest concert tours of the year.

Tour Likelihood: Tour Confirmed

BTS

There’s no denying that the bond between BTS and their ARMY is real. Since the K-pop group wrapped up their Permission to Dance Concerts in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, ARMYs are eager for a 2023 world tour announcement. Unfortunately, BTS announced that they will be taking a break for an indefinite period, leaving its fandom in tears.

Tour Likelihood: Highly Unlikely

BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK, the world’s biggest girl group, will be coming to an arena near you soon. In a Rolling Stone interview, the K-pop quartet confirmed that they’re currently working on their next release, which will mark their first album since 2020’s “The Album.” Given that BLACKPINK is working on new music, this tips the scale in favor of a BLACKPINK 2023 tour materializing.

Tour Likelihood: (Update August 2022: Tour confirmed! Browse Blackpink tour tickets now)

Ed Sheeran

With the release of his fourth album +-=÷x, Ed Sheeran fans will see the British singer on his North American tour in 2023. Ed Sheeran will be made stops in Europe this summer on his +-=÷x tour, but has since added North American dates to the roster.

Tour Likelihood: Tour Confirmed

Eminem

Eminem tour rumors continue to swirl. The buzz intensified following his iconic performance with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar at the 2022 Super Bowl. Given the buzz his Super Bowl performance has created, it seems likely that Eminem will tour in 2023, following in the footsteps of fellow performer Kendrick Lamar’s tour announcement.

Tour Likelihood: Possible

Gracie Abrams

Last year may have been a huge year for Gracie Abrams when she joined Olivia Rodrigo on tour, but it looks like 2023 is shaping up to be a bigger year for her. Gracie Abrams is set to launch her own headlining tour before heading on the road with Taylor Swift as an opening act on her Eras tour.

Tour Likelihood: Confirmed

Harry Styles

Harry Styles has been on tour for most of 2022, but fans of the chart-topping artist could see some 2023 tour dates. With his third album “Harry’s House” out and residency-like concerts announced in New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles, there is a chance that Harry Styles could be taking his new material to other major U.S. cities in 2023. If he does, you can apply Reward Credit from a previous purchase to your purchase of Harry Styles tickets. Not familiar with our loyalty program? Check out Vivid Seats Rewards.

Tour Likelihood: Highly Likely

Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson has announced her highly anticipated return to the stage! The five-time Grammy Award winner has announced her ninth concert tour, Together Again, with special guest Ludacris. In addition to her Together Again tour, Janet Jackson has also promised fans that new music is on the way.

Tour Likelihood: Tour Confirmed

J-Hope

BTS’ J-Hope is the first member of the group to step out on his own with his upcoming solo album. J-Hope will also headline Lollapalooza in Chicago, making history as the first South Korean artist to headline a major U.S. music festival. While the announcement that BTS would take indefinite time off caught us and the rest of the ARMY off guard, J-Hope has had quite a promising start to his solo career.

Tour Likelihood: Highly Likely

Joshua Bassett

The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star announced a 2023 tour following the release of his Sad Songs in a Hotel Room EP and four one-off singles. Joshua Bassett is one of pop music's rising stars, so be sure to catch The Complicated tour when it arrives in a city near you.

Tour Likelihood: Tour Confirmed

Kanye West

Since releasing “Donda” in 2021, Kanye has teased fans with some concert-esque live appearances in the form of album listening parties at major stadiums like Soldier Field and Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It’s been nearly six years since the rapper last toured in support of “The Life of Pablo.” While we would love a Kanye West comeback tour, “Donda” collaborator Vory says the rapper is taking some time away from music. Given this news, it’s highly unlikely that Kanye West will tour in 2023.

Tour Likelihood: Highly Unlikely

Lewis Capaldi

Lewis Capaldi is coming to North America! The Scottish singer-songwriter has announced a 2023 world tour in support of his second album, Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent. Lewis Capaldi made history in 2019 by becoming the first-ever artist to announce and sell out an area tour before the release of a debut album, so Lewis Capaldi tickets in 2023 are likely to be a hot item.

Tour Likelihood: Tour Confirmed

Matchbox Twenty

Pop rock band Matchbox Twenty finally will head out on their long-anticipated tour in 2023! In 2020, Matchbox Twenty had a perfectly titled “Matchbox Twenty 2020” tour planned, but they had to postpone due to the pandemic. The four-time Grammy nominees have more than 50 shows all over the U.S. and Canada from May to August.

Tour Likelihood: Tour Confirmed

Megan Thee Stallion

Perhaps no female artist has been a faster riser than Megan Thee Stallion, who went from up-and-coming Houston rapper to collaborating with Beyonce on a remix of “Savage.” As one of the top young artists in the rap/hip hop space, a 2023 Megan Thee Stallion tour is a guarantee.

Tour Likelihood: Highly Likely

Morgan Wallen

Morgan Wallen is a must-see live in concert. It’s likely that Morgan Wallen will announce a 2023 tour given the success of his 2022 Dangerous tour. The rising country star is already set to headline Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam in 2023, and it’s likely that he’ll add more 2023 concerts to his tour schedule.

Tour Likelihood: Confirmed! Morgan Wallen is heading out on the 2023 One Night at a Time World Tour. Tickets are avialable now on Vivid Seats. (Updated 12/6/22)

NCT 127

Rumor has it that K-pop group NCT 127 will be venturing out on a 2023 tour. While tour dates have yet to be announced, the group has been dropping hints that a North American tour announcement is coming soon.

Tour Likelihood: Confirmed! NCT 127 confirmed a 2023 US tour on December 7, 2022.

Olivia Rodrigo

When Olivia Rodrigo announced her tour in December, many fans were upset by her decision to visit small theaters instead of arenas. After tickets for the entire Sour Tour sold out, the rising pop star reassured fans on Instagram that there will be more tours in the future.

Given the success of her 2022 tour, it's highly likely that she'll head out on the road again in 2023 to meet even more Livies.

Rihanna

Could we finally be getting a Rihanna tour AND new music in 2023? In September 2022, news broke that Rihanna would serve as the headliner for the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show. Rihanna is also rumored to have an album's worth of unfinished material, and is reportedly set to hit the road on a stadium tour after her 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Rihanna has not toured since 2016, so a Rihanna 2023 tour would almost unquestionably be one of the biggest tours of 2023.

Tour Likelihood: Highly Likely

Shania Twain

Shania Twain’s Let’s Go! Las Vegas residency at Zappos Theatre has been a smashing success. Although the country superstar has not announced any 2023 shows, it’s likely that she will since her residency has been a staple in Sin City since 2019.

Tour Likelihood: Confirmed! Twain announced a massive 2023 tour that will have her on the road for most of the year.

Taylor Swift

Swifties: Stay calm. Rumor has it that Taylor Swift is allegedly booking stadiums, like Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Tampa Bay’s Raymond James Stadium, for a 2023 tour.

The pop phenomena planned to tour in 2020 to promote her album Lover, but her plans were scrapped due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If Taylor Swift joins the ranks of those touring, her tour will immediately become one of the best 2023 concerts. We’ll for sure be going.

Tour Likelihood: Confirmed! The Eras Tour is happening!

TxT

BTS labelmates TxT have performed two small U.S. tours in the past three years, but MOAs believe this could be the first step towards a larger tour in 2023. Plus, TxT will perform at Lollapalooza 2022, marking the group’s first-ever U.S. festival show. Whether it’s a 2023 arena tour or a new album, we can’t wait to see what’s next for these rising stars.

Tour Likelihood: Confirmed! TxT Act:Sweet Mirage tickets are available now for the spring 2023 tour. (Updated 2/6/23)
