Red Hot Chili Peppers are going back on tour with support from The Strokes, HAIM, A$AP Rocky, Anderson .Paak, King Princess and more.
In a parody newscast from the fictional KHOT station, the RHCP— singer Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith and returning guitarist John Frusciante— announced the upcoming world stadium tour:
The Red Hot Chili Peppers' 2022 world tour kicks off June 4 in Seville, Spain. The North American leg will launch on July 23 in Denver at Empower Field at Mile High and wrap up Sept. 18 in Arlington, Texas at Globe Life Field
Fittingly, the tour announcement arrives shortly before the RHCP revealed that they were "almost done" recording their new album. The upcoming new LP will mark Frusciante's first studio contribution since working on 2006's Stadium Arcadium. The tour will also mark the first Red Hot Chili Peppers concert since Frusciante rejoined the band at the end of 2019.
