Since the release of the band’s first album in 1995, there has been a major Foo Fighters tour behind every new album. Almost every one of these live ventures has been an international trek, taking the group to perform at festivals and stadiums in Europe, South America, Asia, and Oceania, as well as the band’s native North America.
The Foo Fighters toured extensively in support of its debut album, but the band’s first major trek was 1997’s The Colour and the Shape Tour. This was also the band’s first major tour to feature longtime drummer Taylor Hawkins.
