2013 Sugar Bowl - New Orleans Tickets
The 79th annual Sugar Bowl is ready to go down live in front of over 75,000 fans inside the Mercedez-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. This year the Florida Gators will face off against the Louisville Cardinals, and we've got all of the venue and seating information you need below.
Mercedez-Benz Superdome Seating Guide
*Florida will occupy the home sideline, with fans located in front of sections 141, 142, and 143.
*Louisville will occupy the visitor sideline, with fans located in front of sections 113,114,115.
For the Sugar Bowl, there are 491 seating sections at the Superdome. Each is divided into 9 seating locations across 5 levels.
Plaza Level Corner - These seats are close to all the action and offer some interesting angles to the field. Tunnel entrances are below Sections 106, 122, 134 and 150 and these sections have 14 rows labeled 23-36. Sections 109, 119, 137 and 147 are V-shaped and feature 22 rows labeled 15-36.
Plaza Level Endzone - These offer excellent endzone views, with Rows 1-19 carrying a premium over the upper rows due to field proximity.
Upper Level Sideline (Terrace) - The Upper Level includes 500 Level seating known as the Upper Boxes and 600 Level seating known as Terrace seats. Upper Box seats are listed as rows 1-6, while Terrace seats start at row 7 and go as high as row 36.
Upper Level Corner (Terrace) - These seats include 500 Level Upper Box seats in rows 1-6 and 600 Level Terrace seats in higher rows with diagonal angles on the field.
Upper Level Endzone (Terrace) - These seats are in the 500 Level and 600 Level and are closer to the field and lower down than other Upper Level seating options.
Mercedez-Benz Superdome Premium Seating
Bunker Suites- These new premium ground level club lounges located under the east and west side Plaza stands. You'll be able to private premium lounges with flat-screen televisions, granite counter tops and full-service bars.
Club Level Sideline - These seats span the second and third levels and are also referred to as Loge Level seats. 200 Level seats are in rows 4-10, while 300 level seats make up rows 5-17.
Plaza Level Sideline - These offer great views from the 100 Level. They consist of sections 139-145 and 111-117. You have access to the Bunker Club with lounge seating, upscale bathrooms, and high-end dining.
Loge level Corner - These offer great diagonal views and are located at 200 and 300 Level with 17 rows in each section. Rows 1-4 sit on the 200 level, while the higher rows sit on the 300 Level.
Loge Level Endzone - These seats offer great endzone views. There are 17 rows, with Rows 1-4 on the 200 level and rows 5-17 are on the 300 level.
Mercedez-Benz Superdome Gate and Tailgating Information
The gate opens up for the 2013 Sugar Bowl two hours prior to kickoff at 5:30 p.m., and tailgating will be allowed in the parking lot. There are no open flames allowed, and no tables or equipment can impede traffic. The Allstate Sugar Bowl Fan Jam is free and will take place in Champions Square from 4-7 p.m. There will be food, interactive games, and entertainment, as well as appearances by both schools' bands and cheerleaders.
Mercedez-Benz Superdome Handicap Access
Any wheelchairs may be dropped off at the ground level of Gate A on Sugar Bowl Drive. If you need special seating accommodations, please arrange for them in advance of purchasing tickets.
