The Austin City Limits Music Festival is set to make its grand return to Zilker Park in 2014 over the weekend of Oct. 3-5, and you can be the first to catch the dozens of acts featured on this year's lineup when you secure three-day passes to the inaugural weekend. Friday will kick off with a blast from the past as OutKast headlines for its 20-year reunion venture. The next night will feature Eminem and Skrillex, and the first weekend will wrap up on Oct. 5 with sets from acts like Pearl Jam, The Replacements, and Calvin Harris. Other performances over the course of the weekend will include acts like Foster the People, Beck, The Avett Brothers, hometown rock outfit Spoon, and many more.
Austin City Limits Music Festival Ticket Information
All ACL Festival weekend passes will be issued as a wristband. There are general admission tickets, which allow general access to the stages and festival grounds at Zilker Park. Additionally, you can choose to purchase VIP festival tickets, which offer extra amenities like air conditioned restrooms, free food and beverages, and a lounge with live video streams of the festival performances.
Austin City Limits Music Festival General Information
Only attendees with three-day tickets will be allowed re-entry at the festival, with a maximum of five re-entries per day. It is vital that you get your wristband scanned before you leave Zilker Park if you plan on re-entering later that day. Rain or shine, all sets during the 2014 ACL Festival will take place, but only small, handheld umbrellas can be brought into the festival grounds. Other prohibited items include large bags and backpacks, hard-sided coolers, tents, ice, food and drink, and recording equipment for either audio or video. Each attendee will be allowed to bring one factory-sealed bottle of water, or alternatively, you can bring an empty CamelBak or reusable aluminum or plastic bottle to refill on site. Strollers and foldable chairs will also be permitted.
Austin City Limits Music Festival Concessions Information
Austin Eats is a central part of the Austin City Limits Music Festival, providing festivalgoers with many unique options, including meals for guests with special diets (e.g. vegetarian or gluten-free). Most of the vendors will accept cash only, but the festival grounds will feature ATMs throughout the park.
Austin City Limits Music Festival Parking Information
There isn't any parking at Austin City Limits Festival, but paid parking will be offered downtown with free shuttles available from Republic Square. Fans can also be dropped off near the pedestrian footbridge by Austin High School, which is just a short walk from the festival. Although you cannot bring bikes onto the Zilker Park grounds, there will be ample bike parking outside each festival entrance.

ACL Festival gates open at 11 a.m. CST on each day from Oct. 3-5. Note that this is an estimate and that the doors may open later if there are delays on any day of the festival.
